alive and well.

while trying to plug in the multi socket yesterday, it exploded infront of me.
BOOM! with blue sparks and my whole house went dark.
not much of a shock, but i was feeling bad that the whole house went dark.
and my father couldn't watch the ending of the show. lol

RSS 6/2!!

so finally i've got the photos!

had a super great day with my primary school classmates!
lets say, we've not met for 6 years.
and we were united once again because yunni posted our class photo on facebook :D

got to admit went we met initially, there were some awkwardness.
guys cliqued well because they can talk about NS. lol.
but after sometime, things picked up.

had lunch at astons. cathay.
thought i couldn't eat because i just recovered (not exactly lol) but i was so hungry.
didn't finish though, even though portion was smaller than what i can get downstairs.
talk about the past, funny incidents like estelli's hair kena cut by jenhun because she cut his. LOL
anyway while eating, someone from another table said 'I'M A POTATO/BANANA'
kunwei and i just burst out into laughter! kinda rude but can't control!
it's damn funny when we first heard!
but when we share with the others, it isn't funny.

after that went to paradiz centre for pool.
i'm a total pool noob!
but i'm interested to play more.
like someone teach me!

after that while deciding where to go, we landed ourselves at teoheng!
that's because someone said kbox and i suggested teoheng, and chunhow knows too.
so we happily took 14, made quite some noise, took photos with flash at the rear of the bus.
i think one guy was a little annoyed with the flash.

sang for like 2 hours.
like $3 per person only? freaking cheap!
i was super duper high at karaoke.
probably no one has ever seen me this crazy.
i think if i was drunk things will be worse. LOL
anyway sang mainly korean songs, and the guys know, so they echoed after me at some parts!
if i had sufficient space i would have danced,seriously, even though i don't know the full dance.
because i was just too high!

by then it was 10, and we were in search for supper.
they wanted to eat banmian but should be closed so landed at macs.

we said lets go home, so we all took 31.
but this isn't the case.
someone suggested going back to RSS, so we all alighted (except jenhun) at bedok!
then we took a bus back to RSS!
crazy or what!

i didn't know quite a number of people like to jog at night. it was like 11.45!?

our whole outing finally came to a close at 12.10am.
YES. like it started from 1.30pm and ended at 12.10 the next day.

i still had bus back so i took the bus back while the others cabbed.
by the time i reached home it was 12.30am.
can't quite believe i was like sick with fever the previous day.
had lots of energy with them!

on and off people left and came so our attendance was an average of 12.

freaking good day with these people.
we're in for more outings!

i say press 'A' and swing to serve. but his kept serving the ball as in real tennis!
so he could never ever serve in Wii!
the adults just watched us play, some liked it, some wondering what so great about it.
rayman raving rabbids is fun.
it's funny how lester and kong seng can play so calmly (like bowling & boxing while sitting).
may yue and i are like full with action!
that's the fun of it, though our arms would probably ache.

i could finally make my own kimchi!!!!
this has been put off for many years because:
-no suitable container.
-no nice cabbages.

but this time i couldn't care.
i demanded for 2 napa cabbages and went to search for some decent container.
tada i made it!

kept thinking if i'll over salt, or if it'll be too sweet.
i reduced the salt as we don't like salty stuff andi added more sugar thinking it maybe too salty.
but after tasting it, it was a great relief!
it's awesome!
my mother is so addicted to my kimchi that she kept requesting for more.
actually i'm also addicted.. too good!
just lunch and dinner alone we almost finished half a cabbage.
she wants to marry me off to korea so i can cook more korean food for her. LOL!
and last time she said she want to marry me off to holland. crazy mother lol.
i requested for a nice lock & lock to store and she agreed.
all because she wants more kimchi.
and she says i've to make a big batch before i return to school. lol


made 경단 today, all because i had roasted soybean powder!
i was elated when i saw it.
made the red bean paste yesterday and i rolled them into balls for the gyung dan.
my paste is oil-less, less sweet as usual.
but it's definitely fresh!
time consuming though...

because she had to borrow red shorts and fishing weights from me.
poor girl still has to find props on a holiday.

i bet if i ate that in a restaurant, i'm not surprised if it's over $40.
but it tasted really good. medium rare ^^

back in action!

finally there's a week when i'm almost free from 'horrible activities',
so i'm like working full time in the kitchen. lol.

tofu sesame biscuits.
again one of those oil-less, butterless stuff, hence resulting in hard biscuits.
also because it's really difficult to get them flatter.
i've used so much strength but i still can't get it to 2mm.
my mother calls them squirrel biscuits because you've to nibble on them.
but no doubt it smells and taste good.
just that i won't offer it to anyone.
because not everyone appreciates the hardness.
only my parents would like such hard biscuits. perhaps naughty gugu too? haha


you must be thinking what so nice about roasted peanuts?
if i don't roast, i can't make my next product!
but these roasted peanuts taste great on its own.
2 cups of raw yield 1.75 cups roasted.
i've personally skinned all the peanuts too. hard work.


have you ever thought of making your own peanut butter?
also because of my blender, i could get that super smooth texture like skippy's.
but this is also because i didn't add a lot of oil.
to yield a super smooth spread means adding more oil,
like how bakeries would do in order to cut cost and have a smoother spread.
i would rather eat my slightly coarse spread but filled with peanut goodness.
actually it's isn't too coarse either.
the only problem is i can't make it again because,
apparently the blender smells of peanut and it's oily = hard to wash.
shhhhh, maybe i'll make it secretly when i'm alone at home. ㅋㅋㅋ

it's not sticky like commericial jams because less sugar and no gelatinous substances used.

no lunch at gugu's place today.
but had tea at melissa's house.
reason behind it was kinda unclear. i think it was due to the cake.

my mother asked if i wanna go shopping.

firstly she had a hair cut.

supposed to go orchard (haven't been there for 6 months) but it's raining.
ended up spending our day at wonderful tampines.

managed to buy 2 pairs of shoes at $9.90 each.
we have no choice but to have a low budget so i'm thankful i've shoes.
importantly, shoes of my size.
it's like size 40. 39 can't fit.
both are the only pair of 40!
though i really like this pair of americaya heels priced at $53.90, i'll just continue to admire.

actually main thing today was that my mother needed to get a present for gift exchange.
after walking for so long we finally settled for something at artbox.
which was where i met estelli. lol
she asked me a wierd question though. 'why are you here?'

although i can't spend but i can still go out and admire things.
she's meeting puipui, and early today i did wonder if she was working at the atrium!

each time i get a fever (which is seldom), i'll optimistically think that i'm growing taller.
because my father used to say i've a fever because i'm growing.

so last night i was trying very hard to rest, but i had wierd wierd dreams and hallucinations.
the whole night i kept visualising chemistry molecules!
it's like super horrible when you're trying to rest.
wonder if it was attributed due to me trying to read up on resonance.
and i was like reading books in my sleep. -_- books on chem and india(?!)
and i kept having this worry about what if i can't make it to tuition.

in the end managed to go tuition.
i wondered if i could focus.
surprisingly i felt fine. and it lasted like 4 hours!
but once i got home i became sickly again. lol.
so i slept, and started dreaming about electron transfers. -__-
chem's haunting.

and kinda funny no one in the house can tell that i'm sick.
i act fine, look fine, eat my dinner as usual, do everything as usual.
kinda good and bad for not looking sick while being sick.

i didn't catch it initially. i only processed the first 4 words.
and because i really love sticky cantonese porridge, some thoughts went through my mind.

what is 'ding wah jok' some kind of porridge i've not heard of?
you mean there's a shop called 'din wah' selling cantonese porridge!?

then after like 3 secs i got what she meant!
sure an interesting phrase!

my first ever! was feeling excited.
been saying since last year and finally we went this year.
a pity some others can't come.
but it was definitely fun!

i actually felt nervous for the first song, LOL but later was just so comfortable.
of course i sang some korean songs. but there weren't many choices.
worst still some don't even have the artist name how i know what song!
though i seldom listen to cpop my knowledge for them is still sufficient.
well, i manage to last from 1-7 (well, with 3 others)
and i sang mainly chinese songs...
poor shijie has sore throat on a wrong day :/

chocolate love ♥

it's been a month since i've bought any chocolates!
if someone buys stuff with chocolate as an ingredient i'll still eat, just that i won't buy.

not trying to lose weight (i'm still fed with cakes and other junks lol)
just wanted to see if i can curb my temptation.
usually i need to eat chocolates like at least 3 times a week.
i can even treat it as a meal.
probably my best record is 250g down within half an hour.
it's been successful, saved some money too.
but i think when school starts i can't resist.
i'll be stressed and tired and i need my comfort food.

chocolate is my addiction and i need my drug!
i shall start eating them again :D

Bishan Park is a nice place!

sujun dated us. haha. picnic + movie session.
first was at ECP, but there weren't cinema's nearby.
and we actually went to bishan park.
sounds kinda wierd intially, but it was actually a good location!
in addition there aren't many people so less disturbance.
one important factor was that there were many trees and pavillions. = less sun!
i don't wanna turn darker and darker...
actually sirong was suppose to come but she thought it was next wed! -__-

woke up at 6+ to make hoddeok.
learned how to play bridge and daidee. i think bridge's more fun!
attempted to fly a kite. i probably flew for 5 mins and gave up.
also had fun at the playground (not much sun too).
swings are everyone's favourite, aren't they? there're too little swings aroung singapore.

the time turned dark as we were heading for movie. how timely.
it's my first movie of the year! the last was ip man, like last year end? haha.
wanted to watch avatar but apparently it's not out yet.
settled for new moon since only that suit our timing.
i didn't think that there isn't anything spectacular about the movie.

first pay!

for the first time i went to work.
just for a day though. for japanese cultral society (JCS).
today was JLPT exam day for all 4 levels.
now it's held at SMU, i was based at SOB.
the first time gugu told us about this, we were mere primary school kids.
many years passed, and we can work already.

first worked at the counter, to serve those who forgot their test vouchers.
someone actually brought last year's test voucher! the wonder the index was wrong...
then had to count question and answer scripts.
and check if it's in order, whether index is shaded, bla bla. exam stuff.
it's so amazing many people are absent from exam!
like, there can be up to 12 for a class.
before the afternoon paper i went downstairs to direct the lost students.
quite amusing to see late and panicky students!

worked for the full day, pay is good. plus there's transportation money too.
worked with nice people too so i had quite an enjoyable time and experience.
quite amsued the people in the office were conversing in canto. lol.
well of course english, chinese and some japanese.
probably the 2 words i heard most and remember are 'sensei' and 'moji' (文字)
thought i would see my cousin but he's taking exam in another building.
oh, drank 3 packets of milo. lol. hungry.

Auntie Kim's Korean Restuarant.

had an outing with phantom (yeh because you refuse to take pics. -_-)
we've always wanted to try the korean food at thomson, so we went there finally.
the place isn't hard to find, though the map on the business card was misleading.

as we set food, an ahjuma don in hanbok comes to greet you and directs you to your seat.
my dear friend obviously orders kimchi stew that i feel like giving her the nickname 'kimchi stew'
upon viewing the menu, i saw a soup there i've not seen before and was excited.
i've heard of it before so i wanted to try. it's some milky beef soup with glass noodles.
i ordered my food saying the korean name '김치찌개 , 설렁탕.'
perhaps my pronunciation sounds good so she asked me, '한국분?' ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
off and on with has some little chats, feels good.

layout. 보리차 (roasted barley tea) is served.
intrestingly wrapped with paper.

so obviously when you eat at a korean restaurant you'll be served 반찬 (side dish).
there's only 6 side dishes. they are rather different from the other restaurants.
they don't looks as appetizing as the other restaurants.
but they still taste good.

콩나물 (soy sprouts) - i like them so i eat them.
멸치땅콩 (anchovies & peanuts) - highly sugar coated, like candied, it's nice!
시금치 (spinach) - normal
버섯 (mushrooms) - normal
mashed potato - looks dry, but it's taste moist and good.
김치 (kimchi) - ah so yummy! has the right sourness and spiciness!


after some moments our food came.
usually the rice will be place in a metal bowl. over hear it's porcelain. cute.

after trying out a few places, we can conclude kimchi stews aren't identical.
over here it's more sour and spicy.
in fact i like the taste.
as usually kimchi stews are power packed with kimchi.
so much that you won't want to eat the kimchi served as the side dish.

kimchi stew - $14.50

my 'seol-lung-tang' has a different flavour.
it's mild, though i wish the soup would have a stronger taste of beef.
i actually like the glass noodles (though i don't think they should be called glass noodles)
the taste is somewhat similar to some soup i've eaten but i can't figure out what.
i'm gonna describe the beef now.. - 고기 입에서 살살 녹는다....
the beef melts in my mouth!
now i understand how does meat feel when it 'melts' in your mouth. - good.
actually the soup taste good when mixed with some kimchi juice.
overall i enjoyed my meal (:

in total we spent $35.75 (including 10% SVC)
an all right price.
someday i'll go back there again, to try something else and to meet the 아주마 :D

after that we went to novena to walk around.

Cheese Twist.

it was my mother's turn to use the oven.
got this recipe off one of betty yew's cookbook.

smells very much like pastry, fragrant.
the chesse taste isn't strong enough, probably have to use other types of cheese.
still pretty addictive.

Butter NO! Egg Cookies.

yet another naver kitchen recipe.
this time i managed to understand 80% of the instructions.
lol (with some help from the naver's dic)

what tempted me is that i've bought egg cookies from the korean mart before and i liked it.
also, this recipe wierdly didn't require butter, so i decided to try.
ingredients are very basic.
however i worry if it would turn out cripsy as butter was omitted.
so anyway i made, sent it to the oven.

turned out that a small part of the centre of some pieces weren't hard.
but i can't bake any longer as they are already so brown.
despite this little flaw, it's super addicitve!
it's really, once you start you can't stop.
and also because of butter, the cookie isn't crispy.
a better word would be hard.
but it's the kind, hard but delicious!
made 47 pieces, gone within 15 mins with the participation of 3 mouths.

next time i shall make it flatter and smaller, then things will be smooth and fine.
the best part is, it's butter-less, so i can eat without guilt! :D

my mother's gonna make something next!

sweet potato (soft) cookies.

i really like to log on to naver's kitchen recipe.
so many recipes that look fairly easy.
with many beautiful pictures that depicts the steps.
the only problem is, everything is in korean!!
i can understand the ingredients required, but not the steps.
so i try to use my intelligence.
the previous sweet potato chesse patties was also based on my intelligent guess.
that turned out well though.

well, my cookies turned out, soft!
actually i think it's meant to be like this.
since it doesn't require flour, it can't be crispy right?
only the surface was crispy.
but they still taste pretty nice.
well, you can't go wrong when you main ingredient is sweet potato.


gonna try other recipes from naver in the future!

greet my new toy!

got an oven today! so excited.
it's been like 2 years since our first oven died.
that time, estelli and i wanted to bake a cheesecake for pauline's birthday.
so i tested the oven.
and it caused my electricity to trip like 10 over times. lol.
so for 2 years i could bake anything.
i like that oven.

wanted to get a cheapo oven since our budget was really low.
but while testing the knob, the knob fell off! lol.
then we looked at others, and the sales person recommened this.
he also taught us how to choose an oven.
so here it is, in my house. :D
much smaller compared to my old one.

and all of a sudden my mother asked me to take pics of the apppliance we have on the counter.
not gonna post them all here, just 2 more special ones.

this toaster has been with us since i was like, 2-3 years old.
if you're gonna ask me why is it so black, it's because,
when i was 4-5 years old my mother attempted to bake a cake in the toaster. lol.
and the interior became pretty black!
and my house was smokey at that time.
the cake actually turned out edible and it was decorated with the edible fake roses.
i like the taste of those roses. lol.

last day of school

only had an econs lect today.
arrived at school at the same time as usual to have chicken porridge for breakfast.
probably won't get to have it again till next year.

5 people from class turned up.
so 16 sets of chem and math tutorials are with me.
better collect them on the 30th!
i don't enjoy keeping them with me.

weather's scorching today.
had to help take fish pictures for my father.
it's only the beginning. i've more to take next time.
at first he kept saying don't want shadow, in the end he said shadow is natural.
lol.
i've insufficient light source from different angles to eliminate the shadows.
actually he can take on his own right. hm.
not as if i'm some pro photographer with DSLR.

it isn't fried rice, but those mini ABC pasta.
more moist than fried rice because the pasta is freshly cooked.

my father was shock when i said i want to cook lunch.
just because he thinks cooking lunch is a hassel?
but he cooks dinner like almost everyday...
i also never ask him to cook lunch. lol.

seriously the chillis aren't hot. they taste like, capsicums.
the amount of vegetables for 1 person. kinda a lot huh.

i can't think of a better name!
just because i've left over sweet potato, i combined it together with carrot and french beans.

zucchini is a kind of squash.
you may or may not have seen or tasted it.
pumpkins are also under squash.
if i have a chance i may try out the yellow zucchini i've seen recently.

anyway, this zucchini pancake.
super fragrant!
it smells like, potato chips!
together with the soysauce-vinegar,
i enjoy it alot.
my zucchini weighs 150g and i can easily finish the whole of it.
even if you give me 2, i can eat it all up.

Sweet Potato & Cheese Patties.

pretty easy to make i would say!
sweet potato . cheese . milk . egg
sweet potato and cheese blends well.
sweet and savoury,
fragrant and tasty.
there isn't a need to eat the plain old boring steamed ones.
just that some cooking effort is needed.

i was on my way home, sitting at the window seat.
i looked out to view the surroundings as i usually do.
as the bus pulled over at a stop, this old man in rags caught my attention.
he stood close to the curb and in his hands held a pencil and 4D/Toto fill-up forms.
he looked at every passing bus intently, jotting down the numbers.
i very much believe he was jotting down the bus numbers.

does he have to gamble to this extent?

from today onwards i've to go to school on my own..
this would probably continue until next year feburary.
good think for the holiday.
not very nice when i've to leave my house at 6 to reach school if it starts at 7.30.
luckily these 2 weeks lessons start at 8.30 so i can leave at 7.

we're so excited when we saw the reply.
actually i think i was more excited.

glutinous fail.

attempted to make a version of sweet glutinous rice.
without any recipe, failed! lol.
it has this glutinous four after taste.
and i probably need to use the rice cooker for best results.
shall try again next time.

gotten back our results, our worries have been put to rest (:

went to cafe cartel for lunch together with some other classmates (rare move!)
because most of us took the student meal, service seems, bad.
really slow. really really slow.
anyway the food taste bad too. tasteless.
portion's small.
even the pepsi was diluted.
not worth the money.
better off buying a bag of chips to indulge in.

well, maybe i've been staying at home too much that i didn't discover this.
i've eaten the normal ones, but purple's the first time.
pink packaging attracts me too.

finally went for some window shopping (:

melissa's having a performance today, that's why we were out at bugis.
we left house pretty late so we didn't have much time to walk around.
we even ended up late for the performance. lol.

saw a pair of shoes that both my mother and i like! pretty comfortable too. $57+, can't buy..
coincidentally it's another pair of americaya.
walked bugis street for the first time.
i mean i've walked through it to get over to the other side but not exploring it.
crowded. crowded. crowded.
then went to iluma for the first time too.
ulu quiet place.
had thai express for the first time too. not my mother though.
the curry was fragrant but it was so salty! spicy too.
i liked the dessert (:
the manager there is very friedly and provided good service.
anyway we applied for the card (reason for being late)

after melissa's performance we went to grab a bite with my other family members.
at kopitiam, somehow, the place we always land up at.
anyway, the tea taste like water, the har gow taste wierd, melissa's noodles tasted like metal.
the list goes on. -_-

what's for dinner!

woke up really late today, no idea why.
decided that i should prepare dinner today.
i'm someone who is really lazy about preparing meat though i like to eat meat.
so there's no meat cooking today!

decided that i have to cook apple soup before my father blurts the famous word of his.
'fatt mo' (mouldy)
'still don't eat, 'fatt mo' already!'
like everything will turn mouldy even when it won't...
just gives us something to laugh each time he mentions.
anyway, the apples were in the fridge for like 2 weeks??
my mother's suppose to cook them but i think we shouldn't wait anymore.

the other 2 dishes were more like, see what's there to clear so cook.

apples (actually i used 4), red dates, dried longan flesh, nan xin, bei xin, rock sugar (missing).
really yummy green apple soup! better recipe than my mother's.
chili, brinjal, small onions, garlic, hot pepper flakes, sesame seeds, soy sauce, sesame oil
after preperation work.
eggplant sidedish V2. spicy due to raw garlic!
eggs, danghoon, garlic, soysauce, pepper and secret ingredient! lol.
danghoon egg had a bit of trouble when frying but it turned out good. phew.

this time i jotted down the proportions, so i don't have to wonder next time when i cook!
anyway, my garlic usage is excessive.
excessive when compared to others, but not to me.
like i use 10 cloves of garlic just to cook a portion of fried rice for myself.
and i pick the bigger cloves.

garlic, onion, ginger are like such important ingredients to make good food.
yet many people dislike them, one, two or all.
i can't cook without them!

Rose Date Tea

recently this has been my favourite tea.
create out of the blue, i simply added dried pink roses, dates and rock sugar.
not a taste for the masses, i believe.
that's because wenyi took a sip from my bottle today and she doesn't fancy it.
my parents like it though.
so try it only if you like floral or bitter tasting teas.
i don't like overly sweet teas!

talking about this, i can't believe ding exclaimed '不要再喝水了!' to me during CO.
just because she has something to say to pipas and i happen to be drinking my tea.
makes me detest time spend there more.

and apparently april's concert is confirmed.
why can't there be a year for CO without major events.

anyway, it's pepero day today.
a pity i couldn't get myself and others some pepero.

soybean milk!

okay i attempted to make.
actually it was soybean milk meant for some noodles but i made it for drinking.
i wouldn't say this is a very successful attempt, but still all right.

first i had to soak the soybeans overnight and cook them.

man i hate removing the skins. they seem endless!

then i brought them for a blending session and then i cooked it.

the problem is, there's a lot of soybean residue!
okay i learnt that the japanese word for it is okara.
actually for the noodles it's all right, but because i made this for drinking..
since i don't have a cheesecloth or whatever you call that, i used a strainer.
it helped but okara still remained.

anyway it still tasted somewhat good.
in addition, i blend it with a little toasted sesame seeds, so there was a different smell.
my mother say it smells like the soybean milk was burnt but i say it's the toasted seeds.

shall learn a better way of making soybean milk next time!

수제비 (su-je-bi)

this is something made from scratch. from the stock to the noodles.
hand torn noodles, what's the name of the chinese variation???
stocks is made with anchovies, dashima (kelp), garlic and onions
dough is hand kneaded!

i was watching 下一, 站幸褔 while kneading.
anyway, it's such a nice show i always can't wait for the next episode to air!
people should watch it after your exams!
luckily no tears fell into the dough mixture. lol
okay back to topic.
ya so i just hand knead 3 cups of flour with water for quite long.

actually everything's pretty simple, i think the hardest part is the tearing of dough!
because i was trying to ensure that the dough would be as thin as possible,
i spent a lot of time trying to tear well till i made an announcement..
"you all won't get to eat this in near future!"
first i made for my father,
then i thought by the time i made the 2nd my mother would be back.
i called up, and apparently not, so i ate first.
then just when i finished eating (you can estimate like how long huh) she came back.
so i went to make her portion.
while i was cooking she ate some biscuits. -_-
so i was in the kitchen most of the time.


but anyway it tasted good so i'm satisfied.
this sujebi is a mild tasting one.
next time i'll make the spicy one.
that's when i've the mood.

OHOH, anyway the spring onions you see in the picture are the ones we grew!!!

BIGBANG SHOES REVEALED!

so this was the special project.
i could finally give it to her so i can reveal it.
the similarities with bigbang are so little right..
to me they're just a bunch of guy walking on the streets.
but she could still figure who's who..

incredibly, i painted it with toothpicks.
just because most areas were too small for brushes.
and wonder why i chose the coffee table as my work station,
because i ended up having to bend my back so much till i've backache.
바보..

i've wierd request from my mother for shoes with ducks.
and the ducks have to have different poses and expressions.
O_O like huh i'm not some incredible artist!
then later she requested for mushrooms.

shall come up with more stuff with in the future, when i'm not lazy.

pumpkin pancake. dan-ho-bak-jeon.
a very good way to bring out the good flavour of the pumpkin.
shares a similar taste with sweet potatoes.
i've tried plain steam pumpkins before and it's, bleah.

skin the pumpkin and cut them into thin strips.
man i hate this step.
pumpkins are relatively hard, and i gain a blister because of holding the knife with force.

add a little salt and let it sit for some moments.

thanks to the wonderful effects of osmosis, the strips would be limp.
then add some flour (without water!)
then you're ready to fry :D
i'll sprinkle a little sugar while frying.
my pan flipping skills are still not to good though.


it's such a healthy and delicious snack!

anyway, i've amazingly not left my home for a week.
if not because of CO, i can make it 2 weeks.

and jolyn and geraldine are the pair that is always arguing over something/nothing?? lol
everyone is busy with A's except me! haha
so didn't hang around after dinner.
we'll always meet again.

last day of SL!

attendance was the same as yesterday.
touched up the globe today.
messy business.
irritated with 2 guys who can't paint properly.
and they refuse to listen to our comments????
kerosene is more pungent than thinner.

off to PS to meet pauline today.
walked around in the mall.
tried beer battered fish from chippys.
nah i didn't buy it pauline bought it.
verdict - what so nice about it. -_-

happy that i finally bought lip tint!
something that i'm willing to fork my money out to buy. haha.
been wanting to visit etude house to make purchases for like the longest time.
and this visit earned me a minho folder and poster :D
i'm still gonna go back there someday because i'm not done buying.
anyone going korea should just get the stuff for me. so much much cheaper.

SL - Day 3

bad attendance today. like 25 people only.
painted to globe on the road surface today.
kinda easier than yesterday's mural.

had lunch at macs - my second this week omg -_-
oh, saw our hello kitty watch selling at the pushcart for $11!
it's only $7.90 at toys r us!

then went to meet bryan at PP.
just looked around at skinfood and the person gave me 2 samples when i was about to leave.
she provided nice service too.
oh, saw miss khairani too, i suppose.

landed ourselves at andersons because of his ice cream cravings.
sitting there to eat is so much more expensive. -_-
anyway, objective of meet up was to return ZQ's bottle. LOL
the bottle that could not be delievered.
on monday he actually sat at the table next to me and i didn't realise.
scary. -_-

SL - Day 2

was involved in mural painting.
painted the green and grey trees.
painting with oil based paint is indeed messy!
my favourite dae sung socks are stained green. ):
also suffering from back and shoulder aches.

went daiso alone becuase i wanted to take my own sweet time.
didn't manage to get what i really wanted.
instead, bought snacks and letter papers.
hopefully i'll get to write letters.

kept meeting jasmine and ming qi.
first was in the bus,
then at candy empire where we stayed for such a long time.
even though they left earlier, we met in the train later. lol.

after that went to urbanwrite.
bought cute letter paper and stickers but not for myself.
oh i manage to get the stablio leftright pen!
i feel exclusive. wahahahaha.
it's just that the grip is meant for lefties.
trains you how to hold the pen correctly too. apparently i'm not doing so.

no pink though ):
the pencil has pink, but the one for lefties are sold out.
oh, there's even like special lead and sharperner.

SL - Day 1

had a nature walk today.
our legging our aching and i'm toasted.
arrived at a beautiful and somewhat romantic place.
however it isn't when you're pespiring and aching and under that hot sun.

had macs (like how many months since i last ate!)
then walked around vivo.
angel and sam got me a hello kitty watch from toys r us!
they bought themselves the watch too.
pushing the button feels like some power ranger.

spring onions!

more then a month ago, we tried to grow our own spring onions.
ain't it cute!
but the ones we grow don't grow to the height of those seen in supermarkets.
oh, and the amount of roots amazed me!
definitely more than what you'll see when you buy them from the market.
gonna try growing bigger onions next time to see what will happen.



anyway, went to the dentist today because i thought i've a couple of cavities.
in the end she told me i've none.
but i feel some pain at times!
even took xray to check, and she confirmed i've none.
wierd me.
but that's some good news.


oh anyway, i trimmed my hair last week.
like, 8cm.
little short to me, but it'll grow.
better then last year. it was devasting last year. -_-
cost me $8. quite cheap.
though i'm curious how it is like to get it done in those expensive salons.
in near time i can't visit them, so i'll just continue to wonder.

to the brim!

had sakae sushi buffet with pauline.
ate till i want to vomit. lol.
so evil when she looked at me with those eyes...hahaha
when i look at her struggle with her food, it's as i she's in a eating competition!
we ordered everything at like one go, maybe she got a little to happy ordering.
but anyway we finished 20 plates worth in total.
after effect was that we couldn't walk properly.
walked many rounds in the mall before feeling better.
and we couldn't walk to places that sold food. lol.

i think we should just stick to eating korean food next time!
and seriously, the sushi doesn't taste like exceptionally good or something.
and there was this wierd salmon dish that didn't look anything like the picture and it's bitter.
i think my favourite was the mochi ice cream! lol. which was just a complimentary dessert.
